Ford Mercon LV darkness? Doing a drain and fill on my ford escape, drained the pain. Oil looked like this (see pic). I've heard Mercon LV can get quite dark. Car is at about 110k miles. Sounds like a garbage product. I’m honestly not surprised. The one Panerai I owned had very terrible accuracy and ran more like a 0 watch than a true high end watch should. Gained like 20 seconds a day right out of the box and within six months was off by around a minute a day. People always shit on Panerai for not having in-house movements for years.. but my ETA movement in my 465 and Zenith movement in my 74 are freakin awesome and have given me zero issues. I’d rather they just go back to ETA movements and knock the .Caliber P.9010 is the successor to the P.9000 movement, featuring a slightly slimmer design and a balance bridge secured on two sides. The automatic P.9010 calibre, entirely developed and created in the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel, has central hour and minute hands, the small seconds dial at 9 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock.
Panerai seems to be taking away a feature in order to charge more for the same feature when they put it back in the movement. That is my guess.

To purposely downgrade a movement reserved for their top flagship models is beyond idiotic and Panerai should be contacted by the Paneristi's expressing discuss and disappointment. For Panerai not to understand the optics of this move especially after their "Brookland Bridge" fiasco is stunning.
